George Zimmerman and God’s Plan
In his recent interview, George Zimmerman decided to disregard the events that lead to the death of a teenageer, saying it was just part of God’s plan.
Other things I’ve heard are part of God’s plan:
- Losing a job.
- Getting divorced.
- A child’s death.
- Flooding and destruction in New Orleans.
- AIDS
- 9/11
- The Holocaust
What a lovely plan God must have. Talk about washing your hands of reality.

Book of Matthew:
Matthew 18:21-22
Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
Nice way to try to get passed ones traffic offenses…or other improprieties.
But, really, how freaking dishonest. Let’s see, how often are the Boy Scouts eager to be the FIRST to condemn even theory own for “sins?” Atheist, Gays, and I’m sure others, given the chance.
But that’s how the BSA is set up (Don’t want to suggest anything about the Brit Boy Scouts and others groups, without more info. And I’m sure many local troops are more forward thinking than the BSA.). Far too religion first.
All the more reason to laud the Girl Scouts. A more modern, friendlier, and thoughtful organization.
